ORDINANCE NUMBER 82-1
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE TOWN OF SHAMROCK LAKES
Be it ordained by the common council of the Town of Shamrock Lakes, Indiana as follows:
That it shall be unlawful to drive a motor vehicle on any of the streets of Shamrock Lakes at a speed in excess of Twenty (20) miles per hour except that on Angling Pike and Road 300 South it shall be unlawful to drive a motor vehicle in excess of Thirty-five (35) miles per hour within the boundaries of Shamrock Lakes.
Any person violating the provisions of the ordinance shall be subject to penalties for the violation of a local speeding ordinance as provided in the Indiana Code 9-4-1-127 or such other provision of the Indiana Code as may be applicable.
All prior ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

ORDINANCE NUMBER 82-2
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CERTAIN RIGHTS-OF-WAY
Be it ordained by the Town Board of Shamrock Lakes as follows:
That the Town of Shamrock Lakes, pursuant to Indiana Code 9-4-1-28 hereby established the following requirements with regard to traffic stopping or yielding at certain intersections, to-wit:
(a) All traffic entering County Road 300 South from Slain Court shall stop and yield the right of way to all traffic on County Road 300 South before proceeding.
(b) All traffic entering County Road 300 South from Clamme Court shall stop and yield the right of way to all traffic on County Road 300 South before proceeding.
(c) All traffic entering Angling Pike from Shamrock Road South Drive shall stop and yield the right of way to all traffic on Angling Pike before proceeding.
(d) All traffic entering Angling Pike from Shamrock Road North Drive shall stop and yield the right of way to all traffic on Angling Pike before proceeding.
(e) All traffic entering Angling Pike from Belfast Court shall stop and yield the right of way to all traffic on Angling Pike before proceeding.
(f) All traffic entering Angling Pike from Meridian Drive shall stop and yield the right of way to all traffic on Angling Pike before proceeding.
(g) All traffic entering Angling Pike from Vought Road shall stop and yield the right of way to all traffic on Angling Pike before proceeding.
(h) All traffic entering Angling Pike from Lakeview Court shall stop and yield the right of way to all traffic on Angling Pike before proceeding.
(i) All traffic entering Shamrock Road North Drive from Meridian Drive shall yield the right of way to traffic on Shamrock Road North Drive.
(j) Traffic entering North Sunset Drive from Vought Road shall yield to traffic on North Sunset Drive.
(k) Traffic ent ring the intersection of North Shamrock Road and North Sunset Drive from South Shamrock Road shall yield to traffic from North Shamrock Road and North Sunset Drive.
(l) All traffic entering South Shamrock Road from Conner Drive shall yield to traffic on South Shamrock Road.
(m) Traffic entering Conner Drive from South Sunset Drive shall yield to traffic on Conner Drive.
(n) Traffic proceeding south on Slain Court at the intersection of Conner Drive shall yield to traffic on Con nee Drive.
(o) The traffic entering Meridian Drive from McRee Road shall yield to traffic on Meridian Drive.
(1) Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to the penalties imposed by Indiana Code 9-4-1-127 or such other statute which may control the penalties for the violation of local ordinances.
All prior ordinances in conflict herewith are specifically repealed.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the publication as required by law.

ORDINANCE NUMBER 82-3
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING DISTRICTS AND TOWN BOARD MEMBER3SHIP IN THE TOWN BOARD OF SHAMROCK LAKES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF SHAMROCK LAKES:
Be it ordained by the Town Board of Shamrock Lakes as follows:
1. That pursuant to I. C. 36-5-2-4.1(b) that the Town Board o[ Shamrock Lakes hereby redivides the town into the districts as established by the original ordinance of 1973 adopting the Town of Shamrock Lakes to-wit:
(a) First District. All of that portion of the Town of
Shamrock Lakes lying south of the center line of Shamrock Road
South Drive and the center line of Shamrock Road South Drive
is extended cast from the east line of Lot #19 to the east line of
the Town of Shamrock Lakes.
(b) Second District. All of that portion of the Town of Shamrock
Lakes lying north of the north boundary of the first District and
south of the center line of Shamrock Road, North Drive, and the
north line of Sunset Drive.
(c) Third District. All of that portion of the Town of Shamrock
Lakes lying north of the center line of Shamrock Road, North Drive,
and the north line of Sunset Drive from its intersection with
Shamrock Road.
2. The Town Board of Shamrock Lakes shall henceforth have 4 members as provided in I.C. 36-5-2-5 which members are to be elected at large by the voters of the whole town and any of which members as elected at large of the Town Board shall forfeit his or her office if he or she ceases to be a resident of the town.
3. This ordinance has been adopted by a two-thirds vote of all the elected members, after unanimous consent of the members present to consider the ordinance on the same day and at the same meeting which time it was introduced.
4. All prior ordinances in conflict herewith are specifically repealed.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.

ORDINANCE 83-1
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CERTAIN NO PARKING ZONES IN THE TOWN OF SHAMROCK LAKES INDIANA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNSEL OF THE TOWN OF SHAMROCK LAKES, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the parking of any motor vehicles on any dam areas within the town of Shamrock Lakes, Indiana is hereby prohibited.
2. That the specific roads to which the aforementioned paragraph applies include the following:
a. Conner Drive from the northeast corner of Lot #105 to its intersection with Shamrock Road South Drive.
b. Sunset Drive from the northeast corner of Lot #48 South to the northeast corner of Lot #67.
c. Shamrock Road South Drive from the easternmost corner of Lot #19 to the southeast corner of Lot #18.
3. That parking a vehicle on any of the aforementioned roads by the operator thereof or allowing a vehicle to be parked on any of •aid roads by the owner thereof and leaving said vehicle unattended is unlawful and punishable as a Class "C" infraction.
4. That the penalty imposed for such infraction may assessed either against the operator of said vehicle or the owner thereof.
5. All prior ordinances in conflict herewith are specifically repealed.
6. The Town Board of Shamrock Lakes or their duly appointed agents are hereby authorized to post such signs and make such publications as are necessary for the enforcement of this ordinance.
7. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as required by law.

TOWN OF SHAMROCK LAKES, INDIANA
ORDINANCE NUMBER 84-1
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SHAMROCK LAKES, INDIANA, AN INCORPORATED
TOWN PROVIDING REQUIRED SPECIFICATIONS FOR
CONNECTIONS TO SANITARY SEWER LINES
WHEREAS, the Town of Shamrock Lakes, Indiana, has recently constructed
a sanitary sewer plant and connecting sewage connection lines for the benefit of the residents of said town, and
WHEREAS, in order to maintain the integrity of the system, prevent ground water entry, prevent damage to said system and lines, and provide for the proper operation of the system, it is necessary to construct proper connections between the homeowners or other users of said system and the system as presently constructed;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED RY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE BOARD OF THE TOWN OF SHAMROCK LAKES, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. All plans for construction work which is designed to connect a user of the sanitary sewer system to the collection lines constructed by the Town of Shamrock Lakes for said system shall be approved by the Town Board prior to the initiation of construction thereof and in all cases prior to any connection with the system.
Section 2. All construction and materials shall comply with the specifications set forth in AppendiX I, attached hereto and, by reference, incorporated herein. All work for each connector shall be completed within ten (10) working days of beginning thereon unless otherwise approved by the Board or its representative.
Section 3. All construction work performed for the purposes of constructing the connections between users and the sanitary sewer system shall be performed by parties who have, prior to beginning work thereon, secured the approval of the Town Board for such construction and who have executed a performance bond and one year maintenance warranty with the Town of Shamrock Lakes and the homeowner in an amount of not less than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) for each connection, and proof of liability insurance in an amount of Three Hundred Thousand dollars ($300,000.00) personal injury liability and One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) property damage liability. Said Contractors shall be approved only upon application to the Town Board and by providing such assurances as the Town Board may deem necessary of both their competence and financial ability to satisfactorily complete such work. Such approval may not be unreasonably withheld by the Town Board.
ALL OF WHICH IS ORDAINED BY THE UNANIMOUS APPROVAL OF THE MEMBERS OF THE TOWN BOARD, ALL MEMBERS BEING PRESENT AND WAIVING ALL FURTHER READING AT THE TIME OF INTRODUCTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH RELEVANT INDIANA STATUTES THIS 19TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1984.
